The curriculum consists of a core course and 8 modules. The core course will be delivered by Nicolaus Copernicus University (PL) which will also grant the Master’s Degree.
The core course includes three units:
- theory of rural development;
- methods of rural research;
- the role and skills of the Rural Animator;
The eight specialist modules will be delivered by the following universities of the EMRA partership:

- human and social capital, welfare by University
Babes-Bolyai, RO;
- environmental planning and management by the University of
Rostock, DE;
- cultural development by the University of
Valencia, ES;
- sustainable rural tourism by Széchenyi
Istvan University, HU;
- innovation and development policies in rural areas by theEstonian University of Life Sciences, EE;
- education and LLL for rural development by Nicolaus Copernicus
University, PL
- diversification of rural economies by Nicolaus
Copernicus University, PL.
